As night fall approached the wind picked up a bit but we were nicely tucked in our little inlet and the wind did not bother us to much. However it caused quite a stir out in the open water which in turn caused fairly large swells to enter our anchorage which caused the boat to rock and roll pretty good. So much so that most articles that were not glued, or screwed did not remain in place. Even one of the bumpers could not withstand the motion and came untied. So we let the dingy down and retrieved it. About 2.30 am the seas settled down and we were able to get some sleep.
