More artist work



Horst explains that the first thing that is done when making a stained glass window is to make a sketch of the piece that you want to produce. A very interesting and complicated sketch shown on the left.
Than you make a template of every part, however small that makes the finished piece. Than you cut each piece of glass according to the template, and you assemble all the little pieces to form the finished product.

Sounds simple but takes an enormous amount of work for a piece the size of the one shown in this picture.

Last but not least the piece that Horst considers his "master piece"
I think he mentioned it consisted of over 700 pieces and months of work.



When viewed from up close you can see the tiniest detail and small individual pieces of glass.
