The "Biesbosch"

We left "Zeeland" and started back north east.

We took the "Hollands-Diep" to the Maas. The Maas is one of the large rivers that runs in to the North sea in the Netherlands.

One of the areas we wanted to visit is the "Biesbosch". This is an area of wet lands over 100 hectares and is a large protected park.
We went as far into the interior as we could, and anchored.
It is an area that seems far removed from civilization. There is no light pollution, and is absolutely quiet at night.
Unbelievable that there is still an area like this in a country that is one of the most populated in the world. It seems like you are alone in the world when you anchor out here for the night.
