Saltstraumen

When the tide comes in the fish are feeding on whatever it is the tide brings in with it.
Thousands of fish come to the surface, and jump and flap around putting on quite a show.

Saltstraumen supposedly has the fastest tidal current in the world. Over 400 million cubic meter of water flows from one fjord into the next when the tide goes out. It must pass through an area about 150 meter wide and it flows at a speed of up to 20 knots causing eddies, and whirl pools like you see at the Niagara falls.
