Our first introduction to a real "fjord" the Oslo fjord. The mountains are not as high as on the west side of Norway, but it is a long and deep gorge. At times the depth meter registers over 600 ft deep and the width from shore to shore is a mile or so wide.

The name!!!! "Johanna". Not only is that Joanne's Dutch name it also is our grand daughters second name.

On our way to Oslo this freighter passed us.

It caught our attention because!!!!!! (see next slide)
