Home again.

Sun rise across the grain field in front of our home instead of across the water!!!

Home after a very interesting cruise in the Aegean and Mediterranean sea.
We were on the boat from  the beginning of May until the end of June.
From Didim Turkey in the Aegean we cruised south west to Antalya Turkey in the Mediterranean  and back to Didim.
Le rêve performed flawless over the 732 nm we cruised. Total run time of the main engine added up to 127 hours. Total fuel consumption 179.3 US gallons for an average of 1.411 gal/hour
Total cruising days 28 for an average run of just over 26 nm/day
Many memories and impressions gained.
Thank you all for your comments and interest in the Le rêve Report.

Hi
I'd love to pick your brains about planning a sailing trip in Europe.

I can’t believe that times flies so quickly. It's 6th year that I follow your cruises, thanks to your detailed and always friendly blog.
I hope one day I’ll be able to follow your steps. I still have to find the right trawler. Anyway, it is always very pleasent to read you.
Thank you very much for the time you spend putting this info on-line and sharing this great adventure.
Take care.

Our lives have taken similar paths. We retired in 2005 and had a Diesel Duck 462 built in China. We are now in Marmaris, Turkey and are planning on moving the boat to London where we will winter over 2013/2014. We want to make the same passage from the N Sea to the Black Sea and I have a few questions. Could you contact me at randal462@msn.com I look forward to reading all your post about the adventure.
